my goodness dude
first 965 retail and now 940 retail results
where are you finding all this gear :D
great work
saw the benchmarks up on the bot today
Nice. How hot do these things run?
there in stock in nz, i920s,i940s,i965s, i got em all sitting in front of me :P all retail
- they run quite hot, not so much idle, but load, with the TRUE i see 70s and 80s easy load
the i965 aint any better than the i940 for clocking on air?
Was waiting for results like yours, thank you very much. The i940 is getting more and more interesting for me.

Thank you for sharing revogamer ;)
yeah everybody's been posting either 965 or 920, i was wondering why no one had any of these?
good to see
I will consider 940 after read this thread.... thanks for sharing revogamer.
by 'need better cooling' do you mean you did this all on air?
Is all the stuff about 920/940 being limited in regards to taking memory past a certain point (1066/1333) nonsense then? Good news if it is :)
sorry for noobish question, are these quad cores chips?

Nice results revogamer!
You have some nice toys to play with
Looks awesome:up:
Very cool! What water? PM me if you like. I'd like to know the details. Also how you mounted blocks and stuff. That is nice and cool at 4.2GHz. Makes me very anxious to get mine running, make sure everything is OK for a bit, and then get the water loop going. These things ROCK!!!!Quote:

Load temps are 70°c for the 4 cores, i use a block from XSPC with the I7 fix. My loop is quite heavy because i have My 280s and the cpu on the same, one DDC pro and three radiators (6X120mm fan).
Temps are equal to my ex QX9650 at 4.4ghz 1.44v so it's fine for me!
