Project Oracle

Wanted to build a Massive Cooling tower. (DAYAM YOU CD and DAYAM YOU SLAPPY)

So im in the process of starting one.

Parts have been ordered, all thats left is planning and organization.

Hardware:

2 x Fesser 480
8 X Sanace
16 x Yate's
2 x Magicool 400 res's <--- wanted to try something besides EK for once.
Cheapo ATX PSU (Gonna mod this making this a single unit which goes on and off via switch on the rear)
Sunbeam Rheobuss Extreme

2 x DDC-2
1 X DDC -1

Lots of Bitspower Fittings.


Here is my original sketch up, pardon the mess, i dont like to render stuff, as it takes me more time then drawing. :X

I am stacking the radiators next to each other. In the middle will be 2 stacked sanaces' with 25mm shrouds in the front and rear. This will be my main driving force in fan.

The ends of each rad will again have 25mm yates, i dont know if im gonna add a shroud, the unit is becoming VERY large, faster then i thought it would be.

The routing for the tubes is a little bit funky. This is a triple (or possibly Quad) DDC system. Havent decided on yet, and depends on how far the unit will be.

Routing i hope you guys can see this. But it shows how i intend to lay out the tubing. Still planning, and my fessers arrive today, so i'll post pictures up.

Fans arriving is whats gonna kill me, also i need to resplice those DDC's on a single molex and sleeve them.

Actually no...

i got them from jab-tech as the yates arent being used to push air.

i got 8 san aces in the middle for that.

The yates on the sides at most will only allow unrestricted access for the sanaces to dominate. :rofl:

And the other half im gona gut the interior and paint so i can make shrouds out of them.

This should be fun to watch!

well im even thinkn about adding low wattage TECs on the behind of those pumps. :rofl:

18W DDC would put out around 18W.

So a 40W TEC should be more then enough. Use a cold plate with pads, clamp a TEC behind, add a copper heat sink... Uber DDC cooling unit. :rofl:

im hoping having 126mm gap inbetween the 2 rads will allow me to put BP 90's in.

Ima plug it next to a 300 watt aquarium heater and use it for a heater during the cold winter. :shrug:

An overkill project like this needs no purpose, it exists mearly to exist. :rofl:

My fessers arrived, once i get home, i'll pull them out and take some pictures.

Whoa one hefty core for the cooling. 480+16 fans, and 4 shroud!

Just recently added push pull here, but my UFO won't be accepting any shrouds here

i will also answer the 1million dollar question. Will EK res bottom and top fit on that magicool reservoir!

Frozen cpu is my favorite e-tailer, they ship fast, they have good stock and selection and if you know the right people its cheap too!!!

incase anyone is curious,

Magicool res's are cross compatiable with EK res's.

I finished modding a PSU.

Talk about recycling POS PSUs :rofl:
But its perfect, its nickle black, small, and has all the connectors i need. Also adds bling to oracle.

I crossed the green and black one forever. The PSU now works via switch on rear.

My heart skipped a few beats when I saw that psu but then I remember it just powers the wc gear :D. It seems this build is moving along fast.

all its gonna power is a grip of fans and 3 or 4 DDC pumps. :P
