XS WCG IRC <not yelling they are caps :P

Our awesome azz WCG team has a IRC channel that is up and running for a bit now. Every one is welcome. The channel is at Quakenet and channel is #xs.wcg If you have any problems logging in just post here and some one will help you as soon as we get on. No get in there!

got one question for you, i keep trying to talk in the chat but it says "cannot send to channel" heres a pic of what i mean.

Any help would be greatly accepted =]

I'm going to assume you are trying to send colored text though which has been disabled.

black counts as a color, you need to make sure your client is stripping all codes from the text it sends (color, font, etc).

Is it me or the channel is +M (Moderated) so anyone not voiced / opped cannot send to channel?

What time are you guys actually on? Time differences are lame and it's quiet with only me and S0lid in there, at least that's the way it was last time I was there (been away from the cruncher for a few days :( ) IRC is way too time consuming for me because it doesn't blink when somebody writes something like MSN for example does. :p:

I idle most of the time but am on from say 10 am to 9pm our time.

I'm likely to be active at most any time. And if noone else is talking... oh well, I can chat to myself for hours. :yepp:

I've seen it happen. I stay in the room basically all day. If I am in #xs.wcg, that means I'm crunching (my desktop is running).

Well it was nice to see some life in the IRC channel today, a bit more up and personal than the already-quite-personal WCG subforum. I shall return. :p:
