Is that an actual photo of your shipped mobo? Cos there is definitely no BIOS chip socket (only the mask) on the final retail mobo I am holding over here.

Anyway photos of the actual mobo can be viewed in my VRZ post.

No I didn't see a need as you had already done the photos & I was hoping you might chip in with your link :D

My board is already hooked up, my board looks just like your actual photos with no BIOS holder & square illuminated power/reset buttons. I'll add a pic later gotta fix my Moto X bike first.

hope unlike ut p35 itll bios option more than just a measly 1.45vtt

if oscar bumps vtt to 2v ill surely get ut p45 aswell :up:

I should have mine by the weekend, looking forward to being able to run at 600fsb 1:1. Did you get your's from Germany C-N ? ordered mine from there. If you did what sort of time did you have to wait for delivery ?

With the exception of my DK P45 I have always got my DFI boards from Germany (the service is ace). I ordered it Friday lunchtime.

Apparently I don't either!!! E8500 that easily done 625fsb in my DK P45 on Monday night couldn't make 600 in the UT last night only made it to 590fsb. Not that I really go for fsb or anything but my P35 1 year on can still make 600fsb without breaking a sweat so it looks like I've got some work to do.

Without trying properly the answer is no, 115mhz is where it starts getting funky but having said that it really depends on a lot of things, if I really wanted every last mhz I am sure I could find another few. I suspect using the JMicron would get me into the 125mhz band without trying to hard.

Ye I know what you mean its a bit overdue!!!

I think its got its work cut out to match the P35's ability to enable every man & his dog (self included) to reach wild frequency's & speeds whilst running smooth, stable & cool. The P45 is a quick board it doesn't feel so free as the P35 but with the exception of fsb my P45 can do everything my P35 can/could.

The P45 makes Crossfire worth doing which is probably its best advantage over P35. I had both an X38 & an X48 & the boards were good all be it fsb limited which was made that much worse coming from a P35 basically the king of fsb at the time.

I honestly don't know, I doubt it as the P45 is sufficient for Crossfire.

I guess your using a sata hard drive? My Biostar Tpower P45 board is limited to just 106mhz before it gets unstable and thats with a pata drive. So 115mhz inst bad but I hope it gets better with bios updates. Thanks for trying.:)

I haven't seen anything/anyone out there do anything with this board I think the imminent release of Nehalem may be overshadowing it somewhat. Its early days for the UT P45 & I'm sure someone else other than just me will buy it :D & so just hang fire.

On the plus side I think I've got it all sussed out now & should in a position to lay down a decent daily overclock with some 3D benches in the next few days I'll keep the thread posted.

In the mean time from a performance point of view it drives just like the DK P45 but the UT has a bigger PWM that should handle a quad getting raped, the layout although a bit tight is better & the board I suppose being 6 layer rather than 4 handles a fair bit more voltage & runs a bit smoother/stronger than the DK P45.

Is there a bench in particular that you would like me to run for you or are you just looking for results in general from other with this board?
