Phase/cascade Questions

I want to get a phase/cascade for my setup. i know quite a bit about how it works and the dynamics of it but im far from the expert that you guys are.

i'd really like to be able to use the phase/cascade for both duals and quads... is this possible? super low temps arent a big deal to me.

i am currently benching an e8600 and q9650. i would like to be able to use the phase/cascade on both.

what am i looking for? all the chilly1 and vapo LS's ive seen for sale say that they arent good enough for a quad core. what is?

It is no problem to build a unit that is powerful enough to cool a loaded quad maintaining low temps. You will just have to accept the fact that those units are very noisy.

how noisy? my current setup is not very quiet at all and i dont mind it at all.

i have 3 window ACs in storage that i could use for a build. 2x 5500btu's and a 10000btu. i know how to braze and do alot of the build part but charging the system may be a challenge.

I think as long as you got the 800ish to dish out fit theres gotta be a builder on here that lives in the states and will build you a custom unit, you may have to poke around the builder relations section and or phase section a while though.

so can anyone tell me what sorta phase a quad core chip would require?

Not true.

My unit is really pretty quiet. The loudest thing is the fan, which I shall remedy shortly.

If superlow temps aren't your thing then your smallest rotary (you mentioned 5500btu/h) will be sufficient enough. If charged with R22 it will handle any Quad load.
