I'm going to be watercooling my next chip, and I can't decide between the e8500 and the q6600. All opinions (though facts and charts are better :D) are welcome, also, suggestions on a good board for overclocking your choice of chip and expected clocks and voltages.

Well I am guessing you are going to be gaming. So I suggest you check out this review between the E8500 and Q6600 - Link
E8500 if you game a lot, especially considering the new E0 steppings are hitting very good clocks. Q6600 if you only game moderately, are using Vista, or want better multi-tasking performance.
Just my opinion.
As current Q6600's seem to be much harder clockers , even 3.6Ghz is problematic for some.
I would go with the E8400 or E8500 and enjoy daily at least 4ghz... less heatoutput, less volts, easier on the mobo and pretty amasing bang for the buck...
If you do loads of stuff simultaneously or are a vid encoder or us elaods of multithtreaded software a quad might be better option, better go then Q9550...
So, how long do you think an e8500 would be fine at 4.5GHz under water cooling? What board would be good to achieve this speed? (500x9 I'm guessing?)
Also, I'm looking for a new case to put my watercooled system in, so far I'm considering the Antec 900 and the Cooler Master 690, somehing in that price range preferably with a window (isnt that the whole point of watercooling :D) would be good.
Oh, and to get an e8500 to 4.5 what ram would be best?
