First Picture of Biostar Tpower X58
-
i think thats the best one yet
-
Looks good.... the RAM tabs dont cross the PCI-E line!!!!
the 8-pin ATX plug looks a bit close to the I/O for easy disconnection but even at that....
-
It looks pretty complete. I'm glad they don't have the ASUS/DFI pcie ram hate as K404 said.
Hopefully this board will be a good performer [and remain cheap too].

DDR3 2000 ?
I thought Ram voltages over 1.65v could damage the cpu ?

tony has said that less voltage is needed but didnt give any numbers, the core2 is dirty or something so it takes more voltage than it should

Ok , thanks. Makes perfect sense now.

After using their TPower p45, I'm looking forward to look on this one  RAMs slots doesn't match with pcie, I don't know what happened to Biostar there.
-
COuld they have possibly made it look any more like Tpower I45?

If it's as good as the i45 this one is mine.

why such ugly colors? Anyone else kinda put off by using pastels on a motherboard? Is Martha Stuart doing the color design for these or what?

what's wrong with it?
no pink, purple, cyan or lime green, about 4-5 colours max used instead of 10, and most importantly the layout looks great.
-
lol i dont get people that complain about colors... are you guys stareing at the mobos the whole time?
-
best layout for me so far.
could get my two pci cards and double height pcie gfx card in there, then my pcie areca and a second pcie double height gfx at the bottom, if i ever needed to AND 2 eSata! bonus.

2 firewire! That excites me! Seriously.
Nice layout too. Much better than alot of the x58 boards I've seen so far.
-
-
wont buy a Nehalem coz I can't afford one but this is a really nice mobo.
-
Having eSATA, and the ability to use a pci and pci express slot while running SLI, might push me into the Biostar camp for the first time.

I dont understand why the MFG cant just turn that thing (ATX jack) 180 so I can get my fat fingers to the lock.
