Nice to know their all doing their bit to say the least :) nice find and read :)
too bad tweaktown still has that adblock message. pressing back every 10 secs is annoying :(
Can someone link me to where they mention sample size / length of test and which meter they used for testing? I also can't seem to find mention of them regulating input voltage which is CRITICAL for power consumption tests...
Link anyone? :(
For Firefox...

How the hell can you overclock with EPU6 enabled? As soon as i change anything OC rleated in BIOS i can't do s**t with EPU6 apps...
Hello, can anyone tell me how can they overclock and use EPU6 at the same time on ASUS board?
Well, i wonder even how can they do both. If change any OC setting in BIOS, EPU6 software refuses to run. If i disable it, it works but then i can't OC at all. Hm...
Anyone?
My vote goes for Gigabyte. Heck they are green, blue, yellow, pink and just about every other color that could make a mobo look silly :ROTF:
Sorry, I just couldn't resist :D
My P5Q-E also doesn't OC if EPU is enabled. I get message saying something like EPU only works without overclocking. So I uninstalled that cr*p. :)
Or, you know, they act like every other decent website and just completely remove the feature. Just a thought.
I can't stand all of these "green" discussions, I've had so enough of them lately during my fist week at university, had to do a project about it. In the end no conclusion was reached, except that such projects help bring people together.
Nevertheless, I don't think one can expect the consumer to get off their backsides and do something about it, it's the producer who has to start.
Maybe they OC'd and enabled it after?
Not sure. I was also under the impression that you couldn't OC with power saving features on.

It's pretty simple. For example I have defined 2 profiles: Max saving and Turbo. And I don't let EPU on Auto (because it switch between Turbo and Max saving) instead I choose manually between these two (Max saving for surfing/music/movies and Turbo for games/whatever CPU intensive tasks).
My settings for Max savings
Attachment 85133
And I have this
Attachment 85134
For Turbo those are my settings (this is my max. stable FSB for stock Vcore)
Attachment 85132
And I have this (almost 3.5GHz for 1.136V looks good enough for me)
Attachment 85137
Of course those underclock/overclock frequencies should be tested with Linpack/Orthos to be stable. Those are mine, yours could be better/worse than mine. :)
Mine is fine. P5Q-E with E8400.
