im very excited to see what happens beyond 22nm
hmm i still wonder why intel dont scraps the Conroe-L line...
hope is not the official, im waiting for westmere keeping finger croseed for Q3-Q4 release next year
I thought the q9650 was supposed to be going EOL when Nehalem is launched.
Where are server parts?
Seems like intel is halting clock ramps.... I don't see anything definite above the 3.33 E8600 for the next 2 years...
I am hoping the same and according to wikipedia, the mobile variant of westmere is gonna be released Q3 2009, but not the desktop chips. ARGH!!!!
Looks like my Core i7 EE will last me a while!
actually, all the silverthorne like stuff still has life left on 45nm. Think of Silverthorne more as a test of the Bonell core and market acceptance. Pineview and Lynncroft are a few of the specialized branches that the Bonell core will be comimg out on 45nm with next year.
wait...
they have 6 core (qpi) cpus AFTER amd is supposed to have 6 and 12 cores out?
seems like the K10 route finally pays off in 2009
Wasn't Havendale supposed to be Dual Core only?
Can someone post the roadmap here?Firefox decided not to load some pages:rolleyes:
I'm also waiting for westmere. 6 cores + HT (right?). Would be a suitable upgrade to my q6600 system.
