well its gigabyte, they just added gamerhub, so do to their website and it can add volts right in windows but just to 1.2 idk about a vmod mod not the same board
Same exact PCB from the 8800GT, congrats on paying more money for the same card  The phase controller is located on the backside of the card on the top left corner if you have the PCIe slot oriented as down. There is a capacitor with a silkscreened number of C1563, there is a pin that this capacitor is connected to along with a slew of other points in that area. Connect any of those points to ground with a 100k Ohm resistor and you are set to go. Just a note, the card voltage under load will occasionally spike +.1v and cause it to engage it's OVP cut-off if you push the voltage too high. I had my best results around 1.25v as the OVP engaged at 1.30v. Not the best card for vmodding, I had trouble getting 777MHz core, 1890MHz shader, 975MHz memory working. Sometimes it'd work and sometimes it'd crash via OVP.
and OVP is?
and what is about this soft mod? how can i soft mod it?
bios flashing ?
ovp=over voltage protection, and soft mod is bios, and its not reference board, and its just like the 8800gt, sorry if i cant spell
There's always a way to kill OVP...
;)
and how's that?
also, in the gamerhud software it gives me to go upto 1.4V...
what im asking is where can i measure the vgpu?
if you can help to find out...
OVP can be disabled with a mod similar to the vGPU mod. Post a detailed pic of the card's backside (more accurately: the half the power connector is located on).
without any mod only with gamerhud and the core voltage set to 1.4V(didn't check for real... guess its like 1.20 or so)
this is the score(24/7 settings)
