Today... me and my freind trying this VGA HIS HD 4850 with some modded on GPU with dry ice cooling...this result for while run Core 1000 / Memory 1100 :):)

Any confirmation that power circuitry holding it back.. ie HD4870 has 2 PCIE connectors...

Try doing the vmem mod as well, because the chip is really bandwidth starved once you get those core speeds up

But scores are low... My e8500 4940 mhz with 2 3870 (single gpu not x2) with 875 mhz core made 31500k on 3dmark 05...
Something is lowering your score.
Find it and keep on pushing this vga!
At those sorts of voltages you leave the voltage regulators bare? They must be screaming hot.

Great to see 1000mhz possible on these cards like it was on the 3850's. When does OVP kick in? IIRC its around 1.7v on the 3850.
You maybe able to close in on 1100Mhz. What were temps like with the DICE?
