Gigabyte EP45-DQ6 , Queen of the Fsb is back !!!

Hello Guys !!

I received today the news Gigabyte EP45-DQ6 (not sample , product of sale) and i am very happy at test my first P45 chip :D

For the moment , i just the first test and i try to find the good settings for the fsb max. I need test others E8500's , memory and bios (F5 original)

Really Impressive on Air :eek: (663mhz max)

And with my "Caskade" but i have stop the 2nd Stage (-45° evapo) because a i have few problem of boot a -100/-110° (strange cold boot )

I test tommorow with the Bios F5F béta (thank Chris :up:) and maybe news bios (F6 ?) , I already fell in love with this mobo but I couldn't test it too long (Biostar Tpower / HPi 45 arrive soon :rolleyes:)

Damn, sick fsb's on any P45 left, right and center. Can't wait for the crazy benchers stabilizing their systems in 620+ fsb range, and start doing some serious damage with raw megahertz of the 8500's (while waiting for my own P5Q3 Dlx, of course) :D

RIP Commando.... maybe all P45 will perform like this one... you have to test many Commandos to find a good one.

You can only set the FSB in BIOS up to a max of 700, right? Maybe that will be the bottleneck :D

fsb is 1200mhz max in bios :yepp:

Now that is a creazy FSB :D
BTW, can you tell us what vNB and vPLL were used??

guys 700 FSB means DDR2-1400... its a bit hard to find ddr2 able for this

I'm waiting for mine for the next week :D I hope to take 650+ with my E8400 ( 645MHz on Commando ).

I am now almost unable to stop my self will have to get P45 now:)
