yep air cooling, the tuniq is one option, what about the sigmatec HDT-D1284 ?
Vendetta 92mm maybe?
A Noctua NH-U12P would probably fit.
Dualcore, not sure if your talking about the Zigmatec HDT-S1283....
It's an excellent cooler, actually lowered my load temps by 4c over a Zalman 9700, which is pretty impressive.. ;)
Here's a couple pics of it installed on an MSI K9A2 (clickable):

Not sure if you can see in the 2nd pic, but there are slots in the base that center it on the CPU. So you can only mount it in this direction using standard hardware....
I have no plans to run 4 sticks of ram, and with Reapers it does require you to run them in slots 3&4 (no ill effects so far ;))
The direct Heatpipe seems to be VERY effective at lowering temps, and for the price I wouldn't steer anyone away from this cooler. But it does have some limitations depending on your settup...
Hope this helps.... Dave
I haven't tried yet Eleeter, but I did look at it...
Just by eyeballing it, it looks like regular ram (w/heatspreader) would fit under it. But you would definetly have to install the RAM before you mounted the S1283... Actually, I was a little worried that it would clear the circu-pipe NB cooler on the K9A2, but it did (barely ;))
It's pretty big, and akward, but I'm happy with it so far... :D
If you are gonna use the Tuniq Tower 120 you need a adequate hold down bracket like this one JimmyZ made Me:D
the cooler is this:

i know that, but the reaperX can't put together because they're very wide, and the fins of the cooler has a inclined shape...Quote:

Sorry for showing pics of the wrong HSF man, thought you may have just gotten your model #'s mixed up.. :p:
I'm sure the ReaperX perform pretty well, but that is a serious design flaw if you can't put them in two ram slots next to each other, seeing as how thats the way most AMD boards are laid out! If OCZ want's to sell these sticks to AMD users they need to rethink their heatsink configuration...
Looks like you may be able to force them in there at the risk of bending Ram slots, but I'm like you, that would make me nervous!!
