ASUS ROG Maximus II Formula, Intel's P45 chipset
-
This board looks AMAZING. the voltage regulation seems a bit overkill though ;)
-
Now that is a KICK A** board. A nice option after Striker II
-
-
Interesting what they have done with the Sata, looks like they have gone with 6 provided by ICH9R and the other two by the JMicron. Like they do on the DFI board.
-
Have they made it full 16x 16x PCIE 2.0?
-
This is the latest info right now, more spec info soon I hope.

Not when you are running memory at DDR2-1333 with a Q9770. ;)

Holy crap!
Maybe a bit too much bling on the Mosfets, but I like it! I want one!
-
It seems there is a chip between the two PCI-E x16 slot.
-
Love the look of the onboard power/reset buttons!
-
wow it does look good with all the bling. but dunno if it will perform up to par with the current x48 or 780/790i since its in the same price range

From the infos I've read so far, P45 chipset mobo may be the last generation to support LGA775 socket.
X58 will be out by the end of this year following by the debut of P45 chipset this summer and X58 will have a completely new tech including socket 1366 to be the first to support Nehalem CPU.
-
It looks like my new mobo.
-
Anyone heard of a release date on this board yet???
