lol time to break out the insulation :fact:
wow... impressive :P
- "Why do you crunch?"
- "To keep condensation from killing my rig"
Hehehehe. My mum would buy that :D. I think:wasntme:
Very nice temps you have there! :D
Condensation is evil though. >='[]
But what was it when you loaded it back up to 4x100% for a while?
clock & crunch MOAR! :) am I right? do I get a cookie? :D
i wish it was that cool here, got home and looked that the thermostat ion the house, 71 Ferhenight, and then i walked into my room with 4 computers crunching, :(, my shirt was off in a matter of seconds =)
why not clock the cpu higher if you're having condensation issues? I'm sure a q6600 can easily put out more than enough heat once you push it to 3.6ghz+, and 4ghz should be no problem with subambient cooling
Rurouni Kenshin is AWESOME!
Anyways--that's pretty cool--what was outside temperature though? I'd be a bit afraid to run a radiator in the window... for fear of extra dust & all!
This is my air setup, great for benching at night :D Still right around 30f here about every night. 50's in the day. 2 120mm-110cfm fans draw air in the side of the case. There's a furnace type filter at each end.
Good point there movie, a plus side is that my pc room is my bedroom, so its another step taken!!, even closer to the final destination.
On another note, to bad i don't have a gf =)
Yea this chip has a lot more head room in it but when I go higher on the 680i it will just randomly crash. Regardless of what volts to spp or other stuff. Getting a new board in it soon think maybe 4 ghz might be possible. How does the ds3 p965 do with quads I got one of those lying around. For load temps its very good to right now only 10 pm here around 1-2 its coldest but 24 c on hottest core well all know the load of course. For the dust the swifttech rad have a more spaced out fin design to them so that helps but can just take the vacuum to it every month or so. I think at a certain like around 3-6 triple rads you could do maybe 10 or more quads if you have a low air temp and do it silently.
I am afraid no good. My 965P DS3 wouldnt even do 350 FSB with a G0 Q6600.
