D-Tek Fuzion CPU and Compression Fittings

I think I saw someone's worklog where they tried to use compression fittings on a Fuzion and they didn't fit. It was one regular barb and one compression fitting. I think they were using 1/2" ID tubing though, so that might make a difference.

I was thinking about 3/8" tubing and compression fittings for a loop. I know, boo hiss hiss as far as 3/8" tubing, but the redeeming factors = black Tygon with Bitspower compression fittings.

Could I get two 3/8" ID (1/2" OD) tubing compression fittings onto a Fuzion CPU block?

Yes, I can confirm that Koolance 3/8id x 1/2od do fit.
There's only 1mm gap at best.

Ah, looks great. That's just what I want to do, minus the whole Skulltrail thing.

Koolance fittings work out to be about $1 cheaper than Bitspower too... hmm...

the black nickel plating looks nice too

I'll have a pair of Bitspower fittings same specs. of course in a couple of days.

I do find the Koolance compression fittings are difficult to tighten, and they easily come loose.
Koolance fittings are not brightly chrome plated, It's more like a gun metal finish.

You'll notice the Bitspower have the knurled section and I'm hoping this feature will keep them hand tight.

I gave this a try yesterday and couldn't get the 3/8" Bitspower compression fittings (for 3/8" ID, 5/8" OD tubing) to fit on either the FuZion or the FuZion v2.

nah disrupt even said they were a pita to install.

What i love about it is that its a perfect fit for the MPC universal. The round edges match perfectly to the 13mm compression.

The D-tek wont take 13mm. He's using 10mm compression or 3/8. Personally i dont like 3/8ths (not because of performance reasons).
Its a lot more costly to me then 7/16. I usually just buy 50feet and it usually lasts me the entire year if not more.

Yes i do a lot of tinkering on my systems. :rofl:

I know the 1/2 ones doesn't fit but the 3/8 .......... :mad:

it doesn't fit, you can only use it v2!!!

Eu também estou com o d-tek fuzion v1, mandei vir directamente da koolance, mas se quiseres podes mandar vir da aquatuning.de, eu é que feito burro só lá fui ver depois :D

O tamanho que mandei vir foi 3/8id 1/2od que dás os tais 10mm interior e 13mm exterior.

Nas fotos mais acima esse sistema montado é com fittings 3/8.

PS: no site da koolance os gajos chamam-lhe nozzles ;)

Antigamente só queria os bp mas como gostei tanto deles ao inicio, já me fartei ;)

Petra's would be an authoritative "I have it on the shelf" answer :)

the majority of the koolance 3/8ID 1/2OD fittings will work. I have 2 sets of barbs that would not fit though. I've been told they can vary in size from 1 - 2 mm.
