Hi All
I'm new here so please forgive any n00bishness. Looking to build my first water-cooled system soon, and would appreciate your advice. Did some searches in the forums but couldn't see the answer to this question anywhere, so here goes...
Has anybody installed a Black Ice Stealth GTS 360 on the inside top of a Cosmos S case, with 3 x 120 fans on the outside top for exhaust venting? Did it fit/work?

one of my CS team mates did just that, it looks nice and its very thin. Beware though, that radiator is not very good, and its hard to say no to it cause it looks so damn fine, I know. Unfortunatley the swifech rads wont fit in there, nor the thermochills or fesers so your out of luck. but Im gettin the vibe that you wanna get some phone numbers so to speak, and not that crazy about temps. in that case throw that GTS in there and it will look nice, but dont expect stellar temps, because the fin density is high on that rad, you'll need a noisy fan to get the temps down, and that rad is as restrictive as they come, meaning it will slow down the water travell alot, so it doesnt cool the block as much.

Thanks! Yes, you pretty much have me figured out. I want a system that looks good and performs to an acceptable standard when overclocking (probably an E8400 on an Asus P5KPremium and 8800GTS 512MB), but I am not on a quest for the ultimate in cooling.Quote:

I thought that the Swiftech MCR320 did fit on the top, it was only the PA120.3 that needed modding.
Any Black Ice Rad will work as far as i know because the spacing of the screw holes from the center fan to adjoining fan is 15mm.
So that Black Ice GTS 360 X-Flow will definitely fit.
Doesn't the BIP/BIX and MCR's have the same hole spacing?
If a MCR won't fit, go with a BIP. It's much less restrictive than the GTS.
yep the Black Ice Pro is a good choice, also the XSPC RS triple is a good rad and it available at frozen cpu in uv blue for 80 bucks, it should give you good temps and flow, it looks 1337 as well if you get a uv ccfl in there.
I've just finished installing my setup into my new cosmos s case. I've got the Black Ice GTX Triple. Looks sick. I'll post pics soon.
I installed three loops in my Cosmos S got a BIXIII up top for the GPUs, got a GTS240 in the front and a GTS 120 in the back they all fit pretty well. the BIXIII fits awesomely up top and works very well. here are a few pics:

omaryunus - I see you went for the red and black colour scheme. When I saw the red stripe on the black Cosmos case I just knew that it would have to be the same colour scheme for me.

The technical answer to this question is that it will work with all radiators that have a ~15mm space between each of the fan mounting points. Of course this doesn't really mean much to most of us, so with the help of Rob from WaterCoolingUK, we've come up with the following list.

i want to know if a PA120.3 will fit in the front of the case, where all the 5.25" bays are...
Assuming that you are willing to loose the hard drive cage, yes. Otherwise, no. Keep in mind that you would also loose all 10 5.25" drive bays to the radiator.
Not natively, since the case uses a 15mm spacing, while the Feser's use a 17mm spacing. You could probably make something work by only using attaching the middle segment, or by some gentle dremel work on the screw holes.Quote:
