Printer stand mod

I recently modded my old printer stand that I have my torture rack set up on. Thought I'd share the ordeal. I originally set out with this project after seeing [RAID]'s set up, but quickly realized space is very limited with this gear.

Well it's nothing fantastic, but it sure cleaned the space up nice, and seems quieter now as well. Noise level will really drop off when my EK block shows up this week. All fans are Yate Loons DSL's (blue) and DSM's (black)
Radiators have 3 of each in a push pull configuration. Still have to tidy up some cables, and take care of the wires on the floor area, but overall I'm pleased. It should hold me over until the Hyper-modular Horizon Ascensions come out.

wow, 3 triple rads. Your water temp can't be that much higher than ambient :up:

You just have to email them. They have a trinity front (3 120.3) and a horizon rear (horizontal rear)

When I emailed them about the horizon with a triple rad front, they told me late May.

Ditto. Lucky man to have a good family there. I REALLY like the idea of a custom-made table that doubles as a place to mount hardware like rads! If you could find good quick disconnects that do not restrict flow . . .

Thanks for the compliments on the workforce. Yes, it doubles as a space heater, I've already talked to the wife about this problem. We are looking at building a new home in the next 4-5 years, and I already have approval for a dedicated thermostat and A/C unit for my "office"
This room is almost always 10 degrees warmer than any other room in the house, for obvious reasons, and will only get worse when my custom SS arrives.

Don't lie... I know you did nothing. Where is the appreciation of your helpers (sons?). :ROTF:

Just out of curiosity, because your setup is an open case, doesn't it gather dust pretty easily? Or do you clean it up pretty often.

Yeah, it gathers dust and cat hair quickly, I usually give it the compressed air treatment once a week, and vacuum off the fan grills as well.

it has a somewhat classy/contemporary look to it if that makes sense to anyone but me. like it alot... :up::p::cool::D
