Sempron Dual core = G2 Goodness! ( 3.4Ghz 1M pi on water)
Well well, I picked one of these suckers up for a friends build, but she hasn't paid me .. for a while now, so i decided to have a quick play with it
Now though, I think i'll keep it!
Some specs for those not familiar with this new and rather rare little beast.. currently AMD's cheapest Dual core.
Sempron '2100' Dual core
Codename: "Brisbane????"
Factory Clock: 1800Mhz
Factory VID: 1.3vProcess 65nm
Stepping: G2:
L2 Cache: 2x 256Kb
Ht Link: 800Mhz (8x)
A standard CPU-Z shot, and stock performance.. Pretty slow single threaded, but decent competiton for the E1200..

Now for some OCing:!
No claims of great stabiliy here with these results, just a quick benching session really, but you get the idea..
Conditions:
Mainboard: Gigabye MA-790FX-DQ6
Ambient Temp: 25-26deg C
Firstly Just a Stock everything run, Only the RAM multi dropped back, (HTT left @ stock) All voltages left @ default.
STK HSF - 2970Mhz@ stk 1.30v, Resonably stable..

Next.. Some ambient Watercooling , Old Swifttech block.
I should appologise in advance for the lack of Temp readings.. Coretemp does not report proper temps on this Core.. Estimated load temps @ 1.4v on water are 50c.
Std Water - 3250Mhz@ 1.44v

And finally, We break out the Water chiller and go for gold.. The High HTT = a nasty coldbug, so we're limited to 5-10c water temps...
Chilled Water - 3360Mhz @1.48v

And here we have it, highest 1M stable:
Chilled Water - 3400MHz @ 1.488v

Not a bad time for a sempron, the RAM really helps
Still, not a bad OVerclock.. IF this damn board had Clockgen/SetFSB friendly PLL I could have pushed for a 100% Suicide!, Why oh why did my DFI 590 board have to die :shakes:
Enjoy.. Look fwd to some others results if they decide to pick one up for a play.
