Yeah its the typical generic window mod aplied to the P182. The P182s tend to be a difficult case to work with. Getting thigs wired up is a PIA.
Oh really? You ever work with one by chance? I've heard stuff like that as well but don't know all the details.
Interior needs to be painted black, highlights ur components much better.
Helped a friend get his case set up. Getting a larger PSU like an 800W or larger where its longer is tight without removing the fan. Then you gotta get the cables routed up and threw the upper opening then passed down threw to the lower HDD cage. But its easier not to use the lower cage. The dual chamber design of the case is nice for cooling but that added material takes up what little spar room there is in the case. Personaly i steer clear of any case with a door. For me the door just gets in the way and its one of the first things to break. If you take the door off the cases tend to look like crap under.
The P182 is actually very pleasent for cable management.....the P180 is a PIA!!
wasn't a big fan of that case. felt kinda cheap imo.
You could do it yourself with some cutting, double-sided tape and plexi... is it really worth $200?
@Crazypinoy9
You don't know cheap until you've worked with a Raidmax case.
The cable management is quite good I think, as long as your PSU 24 pin cable is long enough to go around the back of the case and through an opening into the motherboard. The bottom fan is quite useless anyways and should be moved to the front of the case, right in front of the middle HDD cage.
And about the door, a friend of mine has the P180 and his door is broken, my P182 door seems quite stable for now. Antec used plastic hinges though, so I wouldn't try to do any major stress testing on it.
The window can be done yourself, I made one last week. I'm quite happy with it, you just need some time and a jigsaw. You can also use some rubber edging to make it smoother. There's a thread in the liquid cooling section about it.

Nice mesh-panel mod inCore :yepp:
Yeah i have a P182 Special Edition with black interior - and it looks sick :)
Really? i found it a PITA especially as i had to use the bottom drive bays - tryin to get the fan in with the psu cables was near impossible, lol
I think it needs a fan at the front on the botton compartment as standard instead of that stupid half thought out middle fan
Well when i built my pc into my P182 SE, within an hour the door broke!
So i emailed Antec, thinking they'd say sorry you'll have to buy one from us or something!?!
But they just wanted a copy of the reciept and a couple of other details and i had a door on the wednesday (last email sent to them on the friday) surfice to say i was very impressed with their customer service!
someone said they feel cheap well i know what you mean - that front bar at the bottom of the case (when u have the door open) feels very flimsey - i won't try and pull the case out with that again, lol
