3870x2 replacement air cooler

Hi Guys,

is there a replacement air cooler available yet for the 3870x2?

as of yet, nothing, the only aftermarket cooler so far is the one used on the GeCubes 3870X2

Wonder if a pair of HR-03's would fit.. one each way lol ;)

Holes don't fit. And you might be able to put them the same way if you 'weave' the fins. But yeah, my first impression was one in each direction :p:

yeah it works, but if you look at blue arrow where it points, these things overheats badly if you dont put something on it and its position is bad to take heat fast from it. With stock cooling it dont go over 70C most of time, but you take down stock cooling and boom 100+C.

Vapor - stock mounting can be fixed with a dremel and a few washers so bolts/nuts dont pull through dremeled holes too easily.

hrm, ive seen the hr03 (non plus) fitted before but that would be a problem on the x38.

perhaps the gecube would be the one to get?

there is the powercolor version too. its smaller tho.

Thanks. If these fit, there is no problems making DIY heatsinks for PWM area. Only problem as i see is 6pin PCI-E power plug.
