How do you bow the D-tek cpu block

Hi, I have read how to bow the D-Tek cpu block and I understand what needs to be done, but jeez how do you get the replacement o-ring to fit? I am trying to use the thicker ring from the Swifttech GT but how do you get it to stay in there so you can reassemble the block? The ring is in a circle and the block needs a square one and has to be stretched very tight to fit but the groove in the D-tek is so small it will not stay in there for more than 2 secs. Whats the trick? There some other o-ring I should use or do you need to heat the ring up a bit to get it to strech more or something? I even tried putting a weight on it to get it to stay for a bit but I cant even flip it over and put it down without it popping out of the goove. Already spent like an hour messing with the stupid thing lol... Thanks

Sigh. No. The washer with teh nozzle kit merely fills the gap. If you read the thread I linked to you will understand if you actually read it.

Well the odds would improve but it's definitely not a foregone conclusion.

Well i looked at it, but the weird thing is, my AS5 distribution already looks like as though it was bowed in the center.

thx for the picture :up: That explains alot in the sence of bowing and the cooling effect on the block { was always courious why you guys bow the blocks. Now I know }. I might have to bow my Apogee GT now :up:

That is because the fuzion already has a slight bow to it.
