(Some of this may only make sense to Dave, due to some recent PMs….)
Once upon a time….there was a red haired boy named Dave. Now Dave sometimes felt like a stepchild in a really big family. But Dave was a VERY good boy. He always did what was asked of him, and was always there for others. Dave had some wonderful toys, but was missing out on one toy the other children in the family had. They kidded him about it constantly, but Dave was so good natured, it didn’t bother him.
Well, one of the boys, who happens to like SIG firearms, looked at how good Dave was through all this and decided to do something about it. He summoned the big Toy Elf, dressed in his pink tutu, and asked, “What can we do?”
The big Elf discussed it and they decided to do something about it. They gathered the other boys and girls together. Now, all the other children really loved Dave. So, they planned a surprise. Some of the children took parts of their toys and put them in a box. Other children bought spare parts from the manufacturer to put in the box.
The big Toy Elf looked in the box, and thought, hey, maybe there are enough parts to put a toy together!! And lo and behold, there was!
Well, they had a really hard time keeping the secret of the toy. Dave grew very suspicious since the children were all talking quietly around him. The children knew they had to get the new toy delivered quick….
So they called up Luke Skywalker and he said, “Give me the parts, I’ll speed them over to Dave in my little brown speeder.”
Now when Dave got the box and opened it, he saw a depends laying there. He was told to put it on in a note. He did, because he is a good boy. When he saw what was in the box, he was glad he was such a good boy, because he needed it!
So now Dave has the same toy everyone else has and everyone lived happily ever after…
Ya know, sometimes Fairy Tales can come true....:rofl: :rofl: :rofl::clap: :clap: :ROTF: :ROTF: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
(Later EDIT - For those who don't know what this thread is about, some of your teammates put together the parts for a full blown quad core machine for Dave. He got it a couple of hours ago. The subject of fairy tales, and of Dave getting a quad, came up in some earlier conversations with him. And now you know, the rest of the story....:D )
