I've used the search but didn't find anything about this here, i've only find some info in a Italian forum.
I've tried all the hardware with diferent components and all work fine, but the combination of DFI and Enermax i couldn't get to post, all the components start even vga fan spins, but the psu stays in protection mode, and the motherboard didn't post.
Anyone with the same problem here?
Could any bios solve this problem?
Are you plugging in the floppy power connectors? Don't.:fact:
A few other motherboards have this issue. If you must use floppy power(dunno why,unless DFI board is peculiar), then use 8-pin cpu converter that goes to molex, and then use molex to floppy adapter...or make your own adapter...
You are not the First Person I have seen posting issues of incompatibility with the Gallaxy and the DFI P35

Well, in that case, it's a no go..i have run into this with a few boards and this psu, over time.
I seem to recall seeing various 680i boards having this problem with the Galaxy too.
Hey guys, I have found the source of this issue for some Galaxy users...
MJRL, if you have the time, take a look at your Enermax psu. Note which yellow wires go where, and what colours they have been coded with.
Yellow=12v1
Yellow/Black=12v2
Yellow/Blue=12v3
Yellow/Green=12v4
modular connectors=12v5
So...take a look at tyour 24-pin motherboard connector. there are two pins side by side with yellow wires in them...which of the above is in your 24-pin connector?

there are quite a few of these psu's wired improperly. the 24-pin connector should have 12v1 connected to it, but mine does not, and has issues with some boards. Motherboard/cpu need to have the same power source, in some boards, and do not in others, however, I am sure that the way this PSU is wired may account for the 4 dead boards I have sitting here at my feet....and the boards that do not owrk right with this psu work just fone with psu's that power the board and cpu from the same line.

Poor quality control here, for sure! If anyone asks you what PSU to buy, never say Enermax!!!!
