Has that asus + D9 no boot issue been solved?

This is ridiculous
When my Cellshock pc8000 4-4-4 sticks were new they booted just fine on asus p5b dlx and p5k-e. Now after some time they simply wont boot after oc reset or clear cmos. I have to set like 2.3V with value ram and change back

Cellshock support said RMA sticks and I did so. But guess what happened after awhile. Same problem. They wont boot at stock, have to set 2.3V manually.

This is really annoying cause I cant shut down PC and every time oc fails I have to change sticks

Ofcourse I tried latest bios. Sticks were fed 2.2V daily and 2.4V for some light benching

Any updates about this problem?

I think the same thing is happening to me.

It's like the board is dead. It doesn't respond when power button is pressed. Need to clear cmos and hope it starts. If "save defaults" is chosen in bios, it freezes.

What psu are you using?

Antec true control II 550W.

It didn't do that from the begining.

edit: could it be corrupted spd? like the UTT once upon a time?

I remember this problem has been posted in Gskill section (with p5b deluxe) a long time ago but without a solution. Interesting but original p5b deluxe bios worked just fine wheras any other newer bios did not

how long did it take before the new sticks didnt boot @ default voltage? it seems from what you have said, the sticks are slowly suffering from electromigration and are no longer able to run @ default speed @ default volts (hence your need to increase voltage to 2.3v for stability. Try running a lower vdimm 24/7, dont push them over 2.4v for benching, and use a fan over them. If you wanna always be safe, keep a set for 24/7 use & never go over ~2.2v with them and always use a fan. have another set for benching so you can push them as hard as you like.

I just flashed my P5B DLX bios and it doesn't boot anymore. I have the Cellshock c4, 1000mhz. They used to work at default voltage when new but apparently not anymore. I have been running them at 2.15v

Tomorrow I'll try some stick that works at 1.8v
