The Q6600 G0 was BLITZed with the Tuniq Tower
I decide find where I can push my retail Q6600 (L726A951) in the Asus Blitz Formula.
Please note these are Overclocking Results, not aimed to discover the full stable speed 24/7. For Q6600 GO 24/7 full stables speeds go to Intel section and there you can find a lot of post about that..
OK, let's the air cooling OC fun begin :D
First the photo of the setup:

Let's see at what speed can this Air Cooled setup can run 4 simultaneous SuperPI in Core 0, 1, 2 and 3..
How about 4.100Mhz?:)

Lets discover the MIPS under the hood :

Does it run Cinebench at 4Ghz?
Oh yehh - and with a very respectable time: 10sec

And finally, some of you may wonder: what about 3DMark2006 - can it run at 4Ghz?
Yes :p: - I raise the PCIe to 120Mhz (seems the max, 125 no go), do a very small OC in my stock 8800ultra and where are the results.

Near 16K for a Air Cooled CPU with a single stock card :)
The Blitz Formula seems to be the P35 board of choice for people that real loves to overclok.
The only thing missing is SLI support, but with a pair 2900XT's the Crosslink may give some interesting results
