no you dont need to, that is only for mid-range cards with no pci-e connector on them. as well you can run low end cards with out it plugged in.Quote:

yeah i read that, but i thought i would ask just to be sure.
I plugged it in but have no idea why, can't hurt anything.
Any idea if it helps with GPU clocking?

Nope, i tried it and same OC as before, so i think its not for people who own high end cards, maybe power to pci-e ad-in cards, maybe raid controllers and such? :confused:Quote:
