Will this board support the new bus. Can't seem to find any info and I really want a 6850. muhahaha.
whats the problem? the board supports, you have the board and the money, buy the cpu and be happy
but i really dont know whats the idea chaning e6600 + vapochill to e6850
Well getting rid of the 6600 for one and I'm reading some good things about the G0 stepping cpu's, just want to wait for x38 before getting a new mobo.
go for man.. :) I think E6850 will have high fsb wall.. :)
Hehe what I'm thinking as well.
Some say g0 isn't supported currently. I checked and it's not in microcode of 703. But that said, neither is 6f7, which is b3 iirc, and that's supported I believe. So...
I'll be getting my g0 on wednesday so I'll be able to say if it's supported or not. Maybe I can extract microcode from other dfi bios and put in 703
I think freecableguy said it doesn't support 1333 and that is why he sold his board.
I can confirm B3 Q6600 works on the board, though its said not to support it.
I can confirm E6750 ES E0 works.. :) ..its ES so it is not confirm yet on retail..

e0's 6f9 isn't in the microcode list either. bodes well for g0

i just gotten my E6850 but i am unable to boot up using Dark, i have flashed to 0703 bios as well... can someone plz help me :(
hmm don't know what to say. i had my settings at 8x450 when i put in my e6750 g0. it powered up and down maybr 4-5 times before finally booting at 8x266.
That was a rather quick FSB test. Yesterday I was about to test different dividers for the RAMs but that do not work. :( I do not know if it is related to the latest BIOS or not.
Instead I did another quick test:
vcore: ~1.44v
Cooling: ThermalRight Ultra 120 Extreme with noname-fans (meaning no Deltas yet)
Temp: 45,44,44,45 according to core-temp

I have not tested higher vcore yet.
Anyone else having problems with dividers? Now I can only run 1:1 nomatter what I set in BIOS. I can set 2:3 but after the reboot, when I look in windows I am running 1:1. :(
