Water and Air will never ever be below Ambient NO, BUT, it CAN be Ambient.
Those are just Speedfan figures anyhow. I don't think the issue with Brisbane temps is going to be fixed short of putting a temp probe on the processor itself which is physically impossible due to the pin array and the IHS.
baldy, you say physics. What is the purpose of a fan of any kind? When you turn a box fan on in your house when it is hot, does it not cool you down?
Seriously though, how do we actually know how hot the core REALLY is on the Brisbane? Unless someone has literally put a probe on the core itself and measured it. Is there someone here that can lead me to a link or even some type of physical print that can tell me that the Brisbane core actually runs @ such and such temps? I havn't done that much research on the subject so don't take me wrong (no offense intended), if there is something out there please lead me to it..
