New Aquacomputer block: Cuplex XT Di - Double Impact

Inside the cuplex xt di a completely new high performance principle will be used. The cooler was divided into two independent halves where the water flows through each half one after another. So two coolers have been practically united in one case.
Through this patent-protected principle the flow speed is virtually doubled and the water is accelerated two times in series towards the copper plate - which is also clarified by the epithet "double impact".

The Cuplex xt di is particularly suitable for Duo- and Quad processors as its cooling surface is far bigger than the one of the cuplex xt.

The price of the cooler will amount to 69.90 Euro. A little bit later we will also offer a .925 sterling silver variant.

Soon also a G1/4" version will appear. Compared to the G1/8" variant it will be different in some points. :banana: :banana: :banana:

The G1/4" threads will help somewhat with that. Its basically a dual-Storm design.
Im tempted to try it out though as currently biulding a new setup and i love the eye-candy! :D

That is one pretty looking block!

Can't wait to see some performace results.

Great looks.

Maybe a good companion for dual Petra's DDCs or RD-30?

I don't think my D5 would be very happy with it though.

dude... i can see a lot of newbies getting into trouble with this block. It looks uber restrictive.

Also any of you guys remember how much of a PITA it was to clean out a clogged storm every 6-8 months or so if you used additves in the water??

Double fun here.. :D

My storm has been running untouched since 2005... :eek: Will be selling it soon so will take a look to see before i def look at purchasing one of these.

These are looking to be a great block, and should perform well. I have ordered the first batch so ill have a look see at how they perform :D

Accelerator plate is nickel-plated brass, top is probaly Stainless Steel or more nickel-plated brass

serial, i dont think you can compare the 6500T to this. Reason is becauset he 6500T still has a ApogeeGT base. Im fairly sure about this statement, only the top part seems like its a shorter version of my ApogeeGTX. The barb spam is most likely the same.

This block has 2 injectors, in a series. There is no way any block made can be more restrictive then this. 2 injectors.... WOW... thats all i need to say. Im just curious on its performance with it.

Either this block will be uber good, or cathar is in some corner laughing his butt off.

Reason why i say cathar, is because i believe this design was implimented by him on the original storms.

I don't see how this could possibly be a better block than the Storm. The cooling patches look to be spaced too far apart to cool anything very effectively. :2cents:

It is interesting. Garunteed it will one of, if not the most restricive block ever created, but cant comment on the performance.

One thing that is fore sure, if you dont alight it correctly for kentsfield the temps will suffer greatly.

Have you seen the MCW6500T? The chart from swiftech says 6psi drop at 1gpm. That's several times MORE restriction than a storm... From some quick calculations, I figured DDC+ with petra's top can't get 1gpm in a single block loop. The reason IS the top being almost against the pins. On second thought, this might break the record for restriction...

As i said, its either going to pwn like heck. Or cathar is at his desk laughing his head off.

But then again, if this was effective, i figure cathar would of done this already and made a special line of blocks for quadcores. Because i can honestly see this thing kicking butt if orientated correctly like maxx says.

Im wondering if my RD-30 would be enough for it. :rolleyes:
