Nice and Powerfull 2 stages Cascade By Skirms_fr

A good Friend Of overclocking-Master.com made for me an
powerfull 2 stages Cascade :

Thanks To Skirms_fr :)

Bit dodgy isn't it?
I also see no pressure switches/releif valves, are they hidden or am I blind?

Hmmm, no oil problems? Did you change to Zelol or something? Oil sep isnt just so oil doesnt' freeze too, you get higher efficiency with one...

sicne the start i built cascades dods and chiller , i never had problems with oil.

on the 3 stage i have a small oil sep but no problems

maybe i m lucky :D

Because oil isn`t acting like "insulator" inside evap, when there is oil separator in the system, which is catching all oil inside of it. With oil inside evaporator refrigerant is taking a lot less of heat than without oil on evaporator`s walls. So you`ve got higher evap temperature.

I`m in 90% sure about that.

That same situation is with R290 and R22 in autocascades. With R22 I`ve got higher HX temperatures than with R290. Why ?

The answer is simple. R290 is much better oil carrier than R22 so while using R290 in autocascade, there is almost no oil inside HX, it`s still flushed and carried by R290 to compressor. While using R22 in HX is a lot more oil and it`s acts like insulator. So that`s why I achieved higher temperatures with R22.
