Thanks a lot for sharing the detail configuration with us.
I've an E6700 as well, so far I'm stable at 3420mhz @ 1.296Vcore, load temp after 8 hours Orthos blend is 48 degrees.

nice motherboard. i'd like to see P5B Deluxe and DFI Infinity Dark P965-S comparison.
-
are there many differencies between DFI Dark P965 and P965S?

No mate, the P965 Dark only has solid caps round the CPU socket area wheras the P965-S Dark has solid caps all round. :)
Anyway The non-S seems to be as good as the S, sans firewire :D

thanx, but how to know which is P965S? there's no "S" prefix on the box DFI P965S Infinity Dark.

I guess the name on the boxes as well as the obvious difference in caps is the only way to tell, although I couldn't find any product details or retailers of the non-S on Google. Heck, the P965-S hasn't even been released in the UK yet :slapass: :nono:
-
I have the -S version and there's a barcode sticker that lists it as the P965-S, but the box graphics have no -S, just INFINITY P965 DARK. There is however, a gold sticker on the front of the box that says "solid cap edition" on the -S.
-
Great board. I'm thinking of buying one.
Does anyone know what brand those non-solid caps are?

KI.T.T., sorry, misundestood... So, there will be only S ver. on the market?
-
does this motherboard have any memory requirements? or any memory will work with it without problems?
-
Should be more or less fine. This board defaults 1.9v instead of 1.8

Which is a good thing IMO :)
But by this, do you mean the non-S in particular or both these boards?
-
I believe both default 1.9v. I meant it as a good thing too :)
-
So, the last thing I heard about the Non-S version was that it wasn't supposed to be released at all... Is that some kind of ES, perhaps?

I also thought it wasn't going to be released, I mean it's already a pretty cheap board who's going to bother with the non-s version?
-
Well the 965P-S costs us about $200-220USD ($247AUD is the cheapest online price) here in Australia, not exactly the price point you have it for  :slapass:
In fact it works out about the same or slightly cheaper to order it from excaliberpc in the USA.
