Nice, but late. Strange mix of caps, and the D-PWM cooling doesnt look amazing. I hope the price reflects the competition and late arrival to market (ie...good price!)

Anybody know where to get a different angle pic of that NB heatsink? Looks....interesting.

I'm assuming that the 1st two slots are 16x while the bottom one is 8x, otherwise how are you going to fit a two slot cooler GFX at the bottom unless you have a case that has room underneath like a stacker or similar

We have reviews of the 965 but not the 680 ? Strange... I like the design of the board and , I must admit, I'm kind of a big sucker for DFI Lan party's series ! But I will wait until I see more reviews before making the jump...

and we hope it comes out sometime this year !!!!!

glad someone is innovating for a decent factory nb cooler instead a bunch of copper pipes running everywhere.

Copper pipes running from NB to MOSFETS to more MOSFETS to SB back to NB needs to end.

A GPU dedicated towards physics won't need to be ultra high end. Anyway there is nothing close to being established by either GPU house to create a physics solution, so the slot will only be useful for RAID cards or the like for probably a year or more.

So can someone clarify, did they use the southbridge from the full fledged 680i package with the northbridge from the LT set?

I could never work out those when they had a heat pipe between two items both of which was a heatsource, shouldn't a heatpipe go from a heat source away to a cool set of fins ? Linking two hot items with a heatpipe, how does that work?

This looks a lot better with a decent passive 680i northbridge heatsink and a nice active MCP55P to fit under the graphics cards.Lets hope the northbridge has a small amount of some good thermal paste under there and fits snuggly.

The LT should be cheaper than the pure 680, this could be a keeper.

Sorry but also my board has 3 PCI- Express slots as stated in the website.

I doubt any other board beats the price, features and performance of the P5N32-E SLI Plus.

I've been following the development of this board for a long time, probably as many of you have...

The interesting thing is that back around Christmas, Oskar reported that he was not happy with the overclocking consistency of the full-fledged 680i NB. Further to this, Tony reported that the LT silicon is actually a new rev. He implied that nVidia may have done some tweaking to improve the overclockability and consistency of the LT NB.

Combining the better OC'ing NB with the full-featured SB, might be a stroke of genius on DFI's part.

We shall see.

This has a lot of promise, hopefully it's actually going to appear soon!

quad core overclocking ... i want 400fsb on 9x multi

and yeah if this doesnt oc quad core well .. its no better than the normal 680i board

Is this the only board coming from the DFI camp based on the 680i or will there be a board based on the full fledged 680i SLI?

The layout does look impressive however and should perform very well if all bugs are ironed out and the bios is up to par.

I'm sure it will be their only offering... see my post a few up for possible reasons why they went with the LT and won't do a full-fledge 680 product.
