How is this better than SP2004 (orthos version)?
Is it more compatible with dual core systems?

If you mean 'more compatible', as in "will my borderline overclock finally test ok?" - then nope it's prolly not anymore 'compatible' with unstable hardware than it was before. :D
new Prime is definatly better then version 251.
now it doesnt seem as glitchy, and works alot better for my Quad Core.
