The Q6600 is a winner , no need to switch from Conroe to K10

Half of current prices! Thats a lot of money off.

Perhaps the E6550 will overclock to at least 3GHz?...perhaps even more.

266$ that means 266 or 250 Euro for Europe plus taxes, but still nice price cut.

AMD might be 40% up in performance but then Intel counter the only way they can by massive price drop.

All good for the consumer, either you go high and pay but get massive performance, or else you pay a pretty small amount and get pretty good performance.

WOW. Nice shift in upper processor price near the end of the year. Mind you 6 months away and the first price drop is coming up here soon. Oh can't wait :) Wonder if there dropping there prices in anticipation of 45nm cores coming out near the end of the year?

well if you look at the price per K for the initial C2D release, it was pretty close on the USD side.

Europe still got boned a bit

Dammit, I'm trying not to upgrade.
