DFI appears to have decided their infinity 965 is worthy of the solid capacitor treatment :D
yay for us :cool:
also they will be producing this solid cap version first and i now expect the first retail boards to pop up at the last week of march...

The last week of March? Well I guess better late than never...but I was hoping the previous indications of early March would hold true.
surely a bit late as much of the enthusiast market has by then got enough solid cap mobos.
Will it be with digital pwm?
I don't care if its late March or early April I just want a nice solid motherboard.
I don't like what I have seen with the Asus Commando board.

I hope these end up something like their nf4 boards. The last company to get an nForce4 board out, but they were worth the wait.
Windwithme over at The MadShrimps forums suggested a $140USD price. I wonder if this last minute change will have a big effect on final retail prices. I'm in @$140, I just hope the voltage for the dimms is super steady since they're offering an insane amount of juice. :eek:

yes for sure...you can see this picture has solid caps throughout....all other pics of this board have liquid caps
just 2 afaik...solid first and then liquid a few weeks after

Wow a stock NB sink that might actually get the oc job done.
Gave up waiting on this board to be released and went for a Gigabyte DS3P rev2.0 in the end.

DFI... recapture the magic gents... make a move, challenge the process, start another company, develop closer Intel ties... do anything to create it again... I hope they do, I think they will... Until then, it's all still fun
