From what I read he wanted to have at least 20 people signed up to buy these before he would manufacture them. I dont know if that figure was reached or not.
I'd buy one for my P5WDG2-WS Pro board if he makes a separate block for each set of MOSFETS...
I mailed them this weekend and got a reply yesterday, It said they will be out this week... We will just have to wait and see (tm)
I believe his plan was to make the blocks for Commando/Striker boards all along. His response regarding 20 people was a reply to my request for the EVGA 680i being supported.Quote:

Hi guys!
I am verry sory that this is taking so long.
Because of the big sales of G80 blocks wh had to postopne it, but just a little.
I talked to the guys from our CNC mills, and they say the blosck striker/commando etc will be made on tuesday. Then straight to you ;)
Very sorry again! :(
Best, Eddy
Eddy,
Have you gotten many takers on blocks for the EVGA 680i board?
What about blocks for the ABit IN9 32X-MAX :)
Any chance of those?
Will those blocks fit the ASUS crosshair? The mobo's seems pretty much the same ;)
680i block will be available next week.
I am not sure about ASUS crosshair bit at least one block should work.
Not sure about ABit IN9 32X-MAX... I'll have to look closely...
I'll take some meassurements of the crosshair when I get the time then ;)
Still waiting... patiently... :)
Eddy,
Any chance of you making some beefy taller copper heatsinks for mosfets for the PWM? Like the digital PWMs on the Abit Quad GT that I epoxy onto the chips? I think that will be even more useful for a majority of the people that doesn't want to watercool their mosfets or stuff like that. I find most of the PWM sinks are lacking in robustness since those little chips put out more heat than some ram chips.
From what i understand Eddy has been ill hence the delay but the blocks are not far from what they should be:

Please do not expect a shippment before monday next week, because I have to ship firstly to preorders.
Wow! Amazing job, as always. I can't wait to get mine. Eddy, I hope you had me on your pre-order list.
Is there anyway to switch that southbridge block to have the inlet/outlet near the right side instead of the top? Or does the inlet/outlet already clear the dual slot vid cards like the 8800 series? Or would the outlets still interfere in that position as well?
Looking good Eddy!
Cant wait to see / get / buy the blocks for the striker!
Are the EVGA 680i blocks ready too?
WOW if I had a bigger case and was actually pushing the board hard enough to warrant getting rid of the heat pipes... I would definitely be getting these!!!
