FSB525! Gigabyte N680SLI-DQ6
-
WOW!
This board is looking&clocking great! :toast:
-
:slobber: The heatpipe setup looks amazing! I love the back plates!
How stable is the 525 fsb?
-
Holy cow! I almost jumped on the p5n32-e Plus, I might have to hold out for this board. Wondering how effective that monstrous heatpipe solution will be, I can imagine that 680i chipset just cranking up the heat on the pwm area. Great results though, how about memory OCing, amazing like other 680is?

i dont think u can put an aftermarket cooler (cpu) with a plate underneath the board like the tuniq

I suspect that backplate heatpipe does little to nothing and it likely doesn't work at all when the board is mounted vertically (althought that's assuming there is actually any fluid in the system to begin with... It may be so poor that it's dry inside and strictly for show). I would remove it in favor of properly mounting an aftermarket backplate.

What about quad-core clocking?

That is not completely true, especially with the F2 BIOS. :D Your board appears to be just like the one Gigabyte delivered to HiCookie. ;)

Good, then drop a retail CPU in it and show the results that people can expect when this board goes on sale in two weeks. It is easy to get the high FSBs with the 1333 CPUs in it, I know this for a fact. While ES results are nice, it is only fair to post retail CPU results for a clear picture on the board's capabilities.
Something like this - http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/7...09x440agp4.png
How high can you take a Quad Core on the F2 BIOS? ;)
