does the INFINITY NFII-M2 support brisbane
nooo, so it lost like i am going to be buying a sempron or a different board, what do you think, an the guy who posted are you that ploygon guy at rchf
call up dfi and request a working bios
i don't have any of these parts yet, i was going to build one from scratch so if i did get all the parts i would have no way to flash it because the cpu would not work in the board
nvm, i just bought a asus crosshair
is this still a issue or is someone running it without problems?
All it requires is the BIOS to be updated to support the new 65nm processors.
If you have a AM2 90nm processor, then boot using it and flash the BIOS to the most up-to-date BIOS.
If you do not have AM2 90nm processor, then call up DFI and they should send you a updated BIOS chip that you can replace.
You could also take it to a local computer shop and have them flash the BIOS for you.
im using the 2006/08/09 bios which is the latest, at the time of this problem this bios was out so is there a bios i can DL so i dont have to get mailed a chip
yes it does support this, thus far I have yet to find any AM2 boards that don't support Brisbane. Only a couple aren't instant drop in and they are uber value. (aka Bios update)
There is a beta bios out that lets you use Brisbane cpus in the DFI MII.
Polygon had success with it here:

And he hosted the bios here:
http://www.lejabeach.com/DFI/dfinful...ultra2-m2.html
It's on DFI's site too http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Downloa...FLAG=B&SITE=US
Running the BIOS now...but I don't have Brisbane core yet :p
