Swapped to my E6700 B1 cpu and testing out the updated SPD of my 2GB OCZ PC8000 Titanium Alpha VX2

System:
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 QPGA B1 Step 5
- Swiftech Apogee/Radiical Triple Single Pass/MCP655@12.25v Kayl Custom 100W Psu
- 128MB Gainward FX5200 PCI
- Asus 680i Striker Extreme rev1.0 0402 bios
- 2GB OCZ PC8000 Titanium Alpha VX2 (Updated SPD)
- 1x 160GB Seagate 7200.7 SATA NCQ on SATA2 port
- Pioneer DVR-05 DVD Burner
- 600W OCZ EvoStream Modular Power supply

Thanks guys... with old spd seem to top out 450-457mhz 1T regardless of timings used.. will try with the updated SPD.

Of note is all above was done within modules rated max warrantied vdimm of 2.52v (well close to within if you take Asus PC ProbeII's readings) :)

Thanks trying to find a nice balance of lower vdimm and memory timings/memtest reported bandwidth.. for 600mhz 5-3-3-5 at 2.5v memtest showed around 5486MB/s for 533mhz 4-3-3-4 at 2.35-2.4v showed around 5044-5208MB/s depending on how tight sub timings are.

With old SPD not possible of cas4 with 600mhz at 2.5v or under can get to around 566-575mhz but and won't be trying higher vdimm since I'd like to keep my modules a bit longer :)

The SPD was just updated to better suit the Intel chipset. Only the engineer would know for sure what was changed and how it works. ;) I won't even pretend I know.
