New Support SLI ASUS WorkStation Nvidia Chipset Motherboard , P5NT WS
-
I bet this board will be 300+ dollars.
-
I bet 220$. P5N-E is $140. Wait for the P5N32-T WS :)
-
nice looking board... any info on price?
-
what's the max fsb with kentsfield ? 400+ possible ?
-
Another board to add on my cr@p-list I see...
Let me guess...8 phase with the 2rd FET above the socket being the hottest one [ ahem :D ], jaw-breaking Vdrops & Vdroops, messy bios... [ and hopefully Vcore strapping like Striker ]
[/rant-off] { awaiting Vista-Ready stamp edition :D }
[ sorry for almost cr@pping your thread Andre, didn't mean it, and ofcourse my comments have nothing to do with you ] { Asus receiving ? hello Asus ? :D }

So it's 680i? Unless this is a new rev of the 680i, I don't hold out much hope, since the current 680i's are loaded with problems even after the patches and bios updates.

Kentsfield is hard to oc FSB 400+ on NV chip, but this mobo can run FSB 370~380 on Air.:)

It's not 680i or 650i. This mobo chip combines with 680i and 650i.
680i = C55XE + MCP55PXE
650i = C55 + MCP51
P5NT WS= C55 + MCP55PXE

hmm .. . worth keeping an eye on then. thanks for the nfo! When do you think it will ship?

I don't know when it will be available.
I try many 680i and 650i for kentsfield, but they are hard to oc FSB 360+. I'm not sure where problems are. Maybe it's NV chip problem.
This mobo can run FSB 370 for kentsfield on air. I think it's enough for me.

I agree, fix the craptastic bioses. Definately the P5B-D.
-
They have a bios posted for this board so I assume it should be out pretty soon maybe. And as for fixing other boards before bringing new ones, well some things just can't be fixed unfortunately. Sometimes it's better to chalk up the loss and just move on.

Why the two SLI bridges:confused:
-
any update on the price Mr. Andre?
-tam2-
-
Looks like a nice board...solid and good performance.
AndreYang have you noticed any oddities with voltages, such as fluctations e.t.c ..?
Looks like Asus has done it again...cooked something up. It has the exakt same chipset configuration as P5N32-E SLI Plus...alot more info HERE
-
Andre...you are the BEST!
what about the Q6600 being a better choice for this board with higher overclocks near 400, or maybe the Q6400 (when it comes out)?
-
Is this board coming to the US? I only see listings overseas.
-
As noticed, why two SLI bridges ?

Yeah, only difference, it leaves one usable PCIX-133 slot (ideally for hw raid cards), while the P5N32-E SLI Plus left one PCI-33 (typically for soundcard).
Who wants both (like me) gets nothing :cool:
