E4300 Available at ZZF

Was this item ever actually in stock? Did ZZF just put the page up in anticipation of the release?

don't know but they do list before they get them.

I thought the 4300 didn't have virtualization tech?

It is available in Australia and the price is $250 AU or $195 US which is strangely a bit more expensive than the E6300? :confused:

Actually 4300 > 6300 since it has 9x and as long as you can get 500+ fsb (could be xtreme cooling) it should be a better deal :)
Also it is better for 975 boards since they have ~450 limit without mods

Nobody was referring to which one is better to buy, although serious doubts of 4500mhz have been raised. The point is that they're not supposed to be more expensive than a 6300, I guess it'll take a couple weeks/months for that to be true however.

Suppose to be around the same price but NOT more. Slightly less. Probably because they're expecting a surge of 1st buyers?

I imagine the chip will drop down in price in the coming weeks as supply meets demand. It should be an interesting chip, too bad it still won't do well in SPi, those 4 MB of cache are so important.

Well, since it'll drop to $133 in a few weeks, I'm not complaining about a secondish in my superpi time ;)

i'd say... my E6400 @ 3.4 is at like 16.2 whereas the E6600 @ 3.4 did it in 15.2

Price has dropped from £118 to £116 now £111 at scan give it till end of january and it will be around the £100 mark :D
