CINEBENCH 9.5 on my office computer, Pentium D 830 3.00 Ghz. Though this is 32bit that's hoestly one of the slowest CPUs I've ever seen compared to your Kentsfields :). I hope the Opteron will be shipped soon. My AMD 4000+ Single Core @ 2.8 Ghz under CINEBENCH 64bit had something aroud 470 CB.

My first shot at this. vid card is a cheapo ATI X550 as this is just used to crunch numbers. I've got a 7800GTX and could borrow a 8800GTS if that would make a big difference.
Any one know what the WR is on cinebench? I looked around but didn't find any info. Thanks.

2349 is actually the highest score I've seen so far. Is your Clovertown overclocked? Is it x64? Awsome result!
A friend's quad opteron had 2100 CB, but I forgot how fast his chips have been.
It's OC'd a little from 2667 to 3000..Quote:

Nice machine buddy ;)
Thanks but I have some work to do here. One of the guys just found a thread with a 2526 score on multi cpu rendering..Quote:

Maybe, just maybe we have a new record. Best I'm able to find is 2526 on multi cpu rendering! If anyone knows of one higher please let me know.
I thought it's impossible to overclock those socket 771 cpus? Wow ... That score is awsome.
Ahhhh ... but Dave ain't you 'average' xtreme guy are you now Dave? ;)Quote:

the socket 771's OC some. There is a 370mhz wall on the ram that has to do with a controller from what I can find but even with that there's enough headroom to get some decent speeds.Quote:

Nice scores guys! I'm looking for that magic seven second run.:D
Eights is the best I can get so far but there's this package headed my way that may help me get there.
Let's just say that the clovers are going to get wet and it's nice and cold here in New Hampshire.;)
Dual Xeon 5355 with s771 pin-mod and chilled water? :P
Very close..X5350's...better than the X5355's:DQuote:

Don't take this the wrong way but I don't think you can beat the 8 cores even with phase. Best I saw outside of my good friend Hassan is a kents at 4950 and he scored 2526.Quote:
