I couldn't resist:)
I dont blame you!!
You do realize you are just getting the MB and none of the cables, audio module, back plate or any other accessory
we will see, last time I got an open box MB from the egg they sent it to me in the retail box, anyway I have all that stuff except the back plate . No big deal to me since I saved some nice bucks, but thanks for the 411.
last time i got an open box, i got ALL the accessories :)
i got a p5b deluxe and it was bare board , used , had thermal paste etc. on it and box even had an rma# on it. but it worked.
My last open box on a Asus A8n32 was just the board with a wiped bios. I had to hot flash the bios in another computer but it worked in the end. Kind of frustrating, but I guess that's what I get for being cheap.
you got one heck of a deal, too bad they dont have any left.
Well for $256.00 I got the full retail box!! Backplate , Audio card, software, cables, fan, even the stupid key chain. Booted right up, I am at 1900 fsb testing memory right now.:woot:
Holy Shnikies!
HIGH FIVES! Thats a major break for you man, good luck.
Damn, what a lucky bastard :slobber:
Tell me about!!!! The Egg first listed it for $374.00 open box and while I was trying to decided if that was worth it I hit refresh and the price was $256.00, I had to jump on it!! I think they made a mistake:)
sweet deal, congrats on that find!
Damn, you could throw that on ebay and make nice profit... if you got bored of it!
I might if the DFI 680i board is any sweeter. I just saw this board sell for 485.00 on ebay. Thats crazy.
Verry good catch, is 3.9 max on this board or is sig not been updated lately?
would like to know latest news on ur setup..
So far I got it to 8 x 475FSB = 3800mhz. I am out of town till after the holidays will post back later.
What on earth make this mainboards so expensive???
I'm with you on this one.Quote:

Again can someone explain why it´s such a good deal when you can get say 2x dfi experts for the price?
I know the expert is using the AMD platform and Nforce 4 chipset but why on earth pay 2-3 times the price for a striker instead of the other mainboards????
Yea I know it 475fsb x 4 , but thats how its listed in the Striker bios.Quote:

Now I just need to find a deal on some 8800GTX's:)
This is too cheap I think
