BA0, not had chance to test but there are huge amount of changes on this board for the memory.
Have a look here to see what i mean. If I get chance I will test, this is also that board that they can enable 1333 strap i hear ;)

Its being resolved, next bios should have the fix.

initial runs with memory in memtest only have the board maxing here at 445fsb. I hear this board has the 1333 capability so a new bios may have this Infinity doing 500fsb real soon.
Tested 400 mode 3-3-3 and 533 mode 4-3-3 at 445fsb and both performed well. If I have time I will bench with XP tomorrow but with the impending trip it will be hard.
My honest opinion now is the Infinity is a good buy with the right CPU. 6400 and 6600 will get you 3.5 to 3.6GHZ stable without mods. A 6300 needs a i965 board for the 500+fsb they can do.
If you can afford it the 6700 or Xeon equivalent really is the way to go.

The older revision board is good for 445, with 1.75 vnb and read delay of 6. With 1.8vnb and over (mod required) read delay 7 opens up another 10 fsb..Quote:

I doubt it will have new rev splashed all over the box, you have to remember motherboard manufacturers constantly revise boards making them better and cheaper. As stock changes you will see the newer rev everywhere, for now you need a friendly guy at newegg or such who will check for you if you choose to try the newer version.Quote:

I thought as much tbh. The a rev A gets close enough, it can use the 667 divider right upto 435 fsb or so, which is more than plenty for most. Most people running air/water won't really notice the performance gain anyway. In general most will use upto 420fsb (24/7) or so on the 4mb cache cpu's, which is more than enough.
Any other results we see in comparison between the 2 boards will be quite anal I think. Maybe a modded vnb will pull away a little with extreme cooling on the cpu and nb, but not by much i'd imagine.

too bad she cant do 4:5 at 450, it would be my dream board then.
however 3-3-3 at 450 may not be so bad, and my ram can do it.
Finally got a little cooler fluid flowing thru my DD TDX block and after Tony and I did a couple of hours of memtesting some timings...decided to put this stuff thru its' paces...I am satisfied for now (<2mins)...hehehe.
Seems with the 11/15/06 bios that there a few timings that do make a difference so I posted some bios pics as I was configured.

come on rgone drop her into 9x and crank on that FSB, we all know this board can do 390. ;)
I don't think there's an option to drop the multi, at least not from the bios on my board, but my board unmodded did 440 with ease :D, we'll see what it does modded in a couple days
