:slapass: I bought a ram Corsair VS 512MB667D2 and I saw a D9 based memoy on the net and the reseamblance is big just that is rebranded and the numbers don't add up.So I need other ways. I can't test it yet since I have some, parts to buy still.

Yes I saw that anywayz is there a phisichal sign I can recognize it?It really looks like a micron D9
how about actually telling us what's written on the chips or taking a clear picture of them? :D
here it is:
Corsair
PS0900623
64MBCFEG
TAZ917-U93G (this is written next to the point in smaller letters.I don't have a camera so I can't take a picture.

That corsair IC rebadged is micron D9 there
edit: images below
Depends on chips. There are different ones. The best ones can do DDR2 1000 CL4 2.4V and some more with CL5. You have to check yours. I have 2 twinmos twister sticks using powerchips ICs - they clock well.Quote:

Since you already purchased it, whether or not it's D9 shouldn't matter. It will overclock just the same with or without you knowing the true identity of the chips. Now, get on with overclocking!

Perhaps something like this - powerchips
or this

Confused...Something like both.Gotta say they resemble the D9 better.Hope to test them.I don't think they are powerchips.Cuz I saw some powerchip based and they have 3 dots. And they are not white ones but engraved.Still hoping it's d9...How can I test if it's d9?
New powerchips have just one dot (not three) and a marking beside the dot.
TAZ917-U93G is a marking of powerchips for sure. So your sticks are 100% sure powerchips based. You might believe it or not, but this is the truth. Don't give them more than 2.4V for testing.
just overclock them and see how they do at 3-3-3, 4-4-3, 4-4-4 and 5-5-4Quote:
