who is the one willing to call corsair and ask the advantages of SLI-Ready RAM?
really
give em a call be like, "im interested in your SLI-Ready memory. however, my friend says SLi memory is no different than regular memory! tell me why he is wrong!"
Very nice !!
Perkam
;) Did't forget You guys but I cracked a plasic pin from my WC bracket so I lost a lot of time......:(
Will post some screenies later - looking good so far. Without attemping much I get 16.xxx SP 1M.
The CPU is still at stock Vcore and I set it to 3GHz and RAM at DDR2-1000 5-5-5-15 with 3.2 volts (3.1 in BIOS).
This board gives a nice boost to the RAM - overvolting 0.1 volts - so maybe I'll get 2.5 when setting the max. of 2.4. Will try later.
CPU temp at 28°C IDLE..........
3.2V, that poor "SLI-ready" Ram :p:Quote:

I agree on that and I think it's just a marketing trick to fool those who don't know much about computers.Quote:
