The 2x1GB/4x1GB/2x2GB/4x2GB DDR2 OC Database!

Presenting... The 2x1GB/4x1GB/2x2GB/4x2GB DDR2 OC Database!

The purpose of the database is for overclockers and enthusiasts to compile all of their DDR2 memory overclocking experiences into one central location where they can be equally (or close to) compared and contrasted against one another. Here you will be able to see the benefits of owning Micron over Elpidia, or vice-versa. You will be able to see the voltages it takes to achieve certain MHz or timings with various brands and chips. You will see which memory brands overall clock better than others, for whatever reasons. This is a resource; one that I hope will be very valuable to you all.

To submit your information to the database, please make a post and PM me with the following information:

- AMD or Intel?
- Memory Brand and Model
- Memory Capacity
- Memory Stock Speed, Timings, and Voltage
- Memory Overclocked Speed, Timings and Voltage
- The Brand and Model (or bin) of the chips used on the sticks.
- A CPU-Z Validation link of the overclocked result, using the latest version of CPU-Z available at the time of submission.
- A screenshot of a completed Super pi 32M (as many instances as your CPU has cores) or Prime 95/SP2004/Orthos (large FTT's, 3+ hours), with cpu-z (overall speed/timings and spd info) and memory voltage readout visible in the screenshot.
- For exceptionally high/xtreme overclocks, photos during the 32M run with CPU-Z windows open will be strongly recommended to avoid suspicion.
- Lastly, but not least importantly...your forum name.

The list will be compiled in a similar fashion to the way it was done in my first DDR OC Database. Rank will be determined by overall speed, and categories by capacity.

I would also like to add a suggestion for mandatory verification requirement (photos during 32M run, with CPU-Z windows open) for very high OCs, e.g. 475MHz and higher @ 3-3-3 or 600MHz and higher @ 4-4-4.

Because 2x512MB is already obsolete and by now has lost most of it's practical use. This database for many will most likely serve as a buyers guide (just as my first one did), so I don't feel 2x512MB kits deserve the real estate here.

Besides, we already know they clock well. ;)

The Test request it is a memory(G.SKILL F2-64000CL3D-2GBGA) which it receives.
It returned inconveniently ㅠㅠ
There is not a memory and of cpu-z validated Data a possibility the link there is not. :(

I've chosen 3:5 ratio (over 2:3) due to a requirement of running as many instances 32M as CPU cores. Since my E6600 on stock heatsink is only dual32M stable at 3550Mhz (395x9, DDR2-1200, 2:3), I had to drop CPU clock by going 360x9, DDR2-1200, 3:5 instead.

You mean, the way it's listed? If so, then yeah - not sure why brand is listed first... It should go as you say Mark, MHz and then nick or sth...

once i get the hang of my new dfi and get some more spare time, i know i'll be submitting some data ;)

and after thinking about it for a few moments, i think enjoy has the right idea with the order.. it's sorted by mhz anyway :D
