it doesnt look too much like a whitewater, but 3 barbs, jet inpingement and the down make it look similar to the AquaXtreme Whitewater LE in my opinion.

It actually is a replica of the storm with three barbs. Look at storm internals, couldn't be more similar.

great design and fabrication. I don't know what OC'd XP's temps normally are... would be nice to see how that block performs on newer gen chips...

Very nicely designed and built. Next step: more holes in the same area ;)
Also think about making a two barb version. Cather said it made 0% difference in performance.
All and all, a very very nice block ;)

I really like the work on the clear (lucite/acrylic?) top part, how did you tap the holes for the barbs? I can't find the correct size tap anywhere so if you know the right diameter and pitch and a possible source please let me know :)
Other than that question I really like the block! :toast:

Every time somebody puts together a custom block, most XSers just :banana::banana::banana::banana: all over the block and its creator, which is really a shame -- especially in a case like this where Pietach's work is exquisite.
