Super Talent Introduces 2GB PC8000 Low Latency DDR2 Kit
World's Fastest DDR2 Just Got Faster!
San Jose, California - August 7, 2006 -- Super Talent Technology, a leading manufacturer of memory modules and flash products, today announced one of the world's fastest 2GB DDR2 kits. The new T1000UX2G4 is tested in a motherboard and guaranteed to operate at DDR2-1000 at astonishing 4-5-4-15 latencies at 2.2 volts.
The T1000UX2G4 kit supports Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP). Two performance profiles are programmed into the SPD of the modules to facilitate overclocking with motherboards that support EPP.
This PC8000 kit is the first memory kit to sport Super Talent's new blue cast aluminum High Efficiency (HE) heat spreader. The new HE heat spreader has ridges that increase its surface area for optimal cooling, and an embossed Super Talent logo. The HE heatspreader will soon be a standard feature on Super Talent's entire overclocking product line, phasing into production in August.
According to David Crume, Super Talent Marketing Manager, "This new kit looks sleek in our new HE heatspreader, supports EPP for quick and easy overclocking, and delivers formidable performance at 1GHz CL4." Mr. Crume continued, "This is our highest performance DDR2 kit yet. It is ideal for extreme performance computing."
This kit is available now from Super Talent resellers worldwide at an MSRP of $429.

Just to let those of you interested know, I have just received one of those kits for evaluation on XS. Therefore, look for my usual OCing Report in Xtreme Bandwidth section in just a few days :) If all goes well, it will be a dual-platform test, on AM2 and C2D setups... :)
